Blogroll is a place where the owner of blog take a link for other blogger. There are many ways to show your blog roll, but that is not important, they have same affect to your blog. The important is how many your blog getting link from other blog or website. This will give effect to your pagerank, I ever see the website that have huge traffic, but that blog have Pagerank 0, why? This is because the blog didn't have enough external link. So if you want to increase your Pagerank you need getting link from other blog.
